TPS thrust cylindrical roller bearing

The standard version TS bearings are specially designed to operate under heavy loads at moderate speed and at peripheral speeds of up to 3,000 feet per minute. The bearings and mountings are also available with special design features to meet higher rotational speeds. The bearing measures from 50.8 mm to 609.6 mm (2 in. to 24 in.). The bearings are composed of two flat-hardened, ground- steel washers with a cage retainer holding one or more controlled contour rollers in each pocket.
The longer are placed in alternate positions in adjacent pockets. The roller paths are overlapped to prevent “grooving” of races and prolong bearing life. Any minor displacement of the races does not affect the operation of a TP bearing, which ensures easy installation at economical cost. The simple designed bearings prove economical purchase rate and easy installation. The bearings find application in cone crushers, cone hooks, extruders, gearboxes, oil well swivels, power drives, pulverizers and pumps.
